Connecting the Live-View Remote(RM-LVR2) to Multiple Cameras
- Multi Connection -

You can connect a maximum of five cameras to the remote control and operate all cameras simultaneously.

STEP1. Checking the Connection Mode of the Live-View Remote

  1. Turn on the power of the remote control
  2. Press the MENU button to select (Connection mode) in (Remote control setting), then select (Multi connection)

STEP2. Connect the remote control and a camera through Wi-Fi.

  1. Press the MENU button to select (Device registration)
    • The device registration screen will be displayed on the LCD screen of the remote control, and the camera and remote control enter the waiting state for the multi connection.
  2. Turn on the power of the camera。
  3. Set the camera.
    • When you connect the camera to Live-View Remote for the first time
      Press the NEXT button or PREV button to select [SETUP] - [CONFG] - [Wi-Fi] - [MULTI] - [NEW], then press the ENTER button.
    • When you connect the camera to Live-View Remote since second time
      Press the NEXT button or PREV button to select [SETUP] - [CONFG] - [Wi-Fi] - [MULTI] - [CRRNT], then press the ENTER button.
  4. An operation sound beeps from the camera and [AWAIT] is displayed. When the connection is complete, [DONE] is displayed on the camera. Press the REC/ENTER button on the remote control and register the camera.
    When [BEEP] is [OFF], the connection beep does not sound.
  5. After the connection is established, the LCD screen of the remote control switches to the Live-View display.
    Note
    If the remote control LCD does not switch to the monitor screen, press the NEXT button or PREV button of the camera and go to shooting mode.
  6. Repeat the procedure from < STEP2 > to connect to an additional camera
Note
  • Perform the camera settings before the connection standby status of the remote control is cancelled.
  • The multi camera control function is only available with compatible cameras.
  • When operating a camera that does not support the multi camera control function, set the remote control to (Single connection).
  • You cannot copy images recorded in the camera to the remote control.
  • The WPS method is used to connect the remote control to multiple cameras. If there is another device using the WPS method in the vicinity of the cameras, the registration may fail. If the registration fails, reconnect by performing each step again.
