When using a lens directly mounted on the camera:
- Fast Hybrid AF is available with the system software Ver.1.02 or later.
- Shake compensation switch is available with the system software Ver.1.02 or later.
- You can use the focus hold button with software Ver. 1.02 or later installed on the camera.
- You can use the focus range switch with software Ver. 1.02 or later installed on the camera.
- The camera may be out of focus when set to Continuous AF.
When using a teleconverter lens:
SEL14TC
- The camera may be out of focus when set to Continuous AF.
- The focal length and maximum aperture for the Exif lens name will be listed using magnification values. However, when the aperture values multiplied by magnification are 10 or higher, they will not display correctly. If you update the camera system software to Version 3.10 or higher, the name of the lens itself will be listed along with the name of the Teleconverter.
- Focal plane phase detection AF cannot be used for focal lengths with a maximum aperture value of F9 or above, so contrast AF will operate.
SEL20TC
- The camera may be out of focus when set to Continuous AF.
- The focal length and maximum aperture for the Exif lens name will be listed using magnification values. However, when the aperture values multiplied by magnification are 10 or higher, they will not display correctly. If you update the camera system software to Version 3.10 or higher, the name of the lens itself will be listed along with the name of the Teleconverter.
- Focal plane phase detection AF cannot be used, so Contrast AF will operate.
- Aperture values over 64 in the Exposure Setting Guide will not be displayed correctly.
