 DSC-HX90V : Send or delete images

  • Use your smartphone to view your images on the camera

    Use the smartphone screen to operate this.
    This is displayed when you select (Settings) and [Show Camera Images].

    • To use the function, the latest version of Smart Remote Control of PlayMemories Camera Apps needs to be installed.

    • AVCHD Unsupported
    • Audio cannot be played back.
  • Using a Smartphone to Copy or Delete Images from the Camera

    Use the smartphone screen to operate this.

    For Android

    1. Connect the camera to the smartphone.

    2. Select (Image Reference) → (See In-Camera Images).

    3. Select a copying method from the following:

    - Copying one image at a time
    Select a date → Select an image to copy → (Copy) icon

    - Copying multiple images
    Select a date → in the upper right → [Select Items to copy] → Select images to copy → (Copy) icon

    - Copying by date
    Select in the upper right → [Select Items to copy] → Select a date → (Copy) icon

    For iPhone/iPad

    1. Connect the camera to the smartphone.

    2. Select (Image Reference) → (See In-Camera Images).

    3. Select a copying method from the following:

    - Copying one image at a time
    Select a date → Select an image to copy → (Copy) icon

    - Copying multiple images
    Select a date → (Copy) icon → Select images to copy → [Copy]

    - Copying by date
    Select the (Copy) icon → Select a date → [Copy]

    • To use the function, the latest version of Smart Remote Control of PlayMemories Camera Apps needs to be installed.

    • AVCHD Unsupported
  • Send To Smartphone

    Use the camera to operate this.
    (1) Press the MENU button on the camera
    (2) Select (Wi-Fi) > [Send to Smartphone] > [Select from Smartphone]
    (3) The camera images are displayed on the smartphone. Select and send the desired images using your smartphone
    Note: XAVC-S and AVCHD video cannot be sent     (1) Press the button to enter playback mode.
    (2) Press MENU, then select [Network] or [Wireless] > [Send to Smartphone] > [Select from Camera] or [Select from Smartphone].

    Note: AVCHD video cannot be sent.
    Note: If the menu does not have a [Network]/[Wireless] option, select [Edit/Copy].

    • RAW images will be converted to JPEG and sent. When [RAW & JPEG] or [RAW & HEIF] is selected, only JPEG or HEIF images will be sent.
    • Supports MP4 file format only
  • Automatically Transfer Still Images from the Camera to a Smartphone

    Use the camera to operate this.
    (1) Press the MENU button on the camera
    (2) Select (Wi-Fi) > [Send to Smartphone] > [Select from Smartphone]
    (3) The camera images are displayed on the smartphone. Select and send the desired images using your smartphone
    Note: XAVC-S and AVCHD video cannot be sent     (1) Press the button to enter playback mode.
    (2) Press MENU, then select [Network] or [Wireless] > [Send to Smartphone] > [Select from Camera] or [Select from Smartphone].
