Updating the PlayMemories Online system will not be possible after October 7, 2014.

Users who do not update to the new system by then will have their account and data (including photos) deleted. Please note that once the data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

For further service improvements of PlayMemories Online, we started the service with the new system on April 1. We will offer new attractive features in the new system.

Notes on update to the new system

• Use a browser on the computer to update to the new system.
• The new update may take some time to start due to the customer's amount of data storage. The system cannot be used during the update.
• There is no problem even if you shut down the browser or computer during the update.
• After update completion, we will send an email to your registered email address to notify that the update has been completed.
• After updating to the new system, links notified on the email you sent will expire. To share the images again, send emails again after the update.
• If the owner of albums or sender of postcards has not updated the system, receivers who has already updated cannot view the images. Please ask the owner or sender to update to the new system.

For the owners of PlayMemories Online app Android version

The latest version of PlayMemories Online app (Ver.3.0 or higher) is required for updating to the new system. To use PlayMemories Online app Ver.3.0, Android 2.3 or higher is required. If your version is lower than above mentioned, new system cannot be used; use a browser on the computer.

For the owners of PlayMemories Home™

Update “PlayMemories Home” to the latest version.

For the owners of BRAVIA compatible with PlayMemories Online

Perform an update operation for PlayMemories Online using a browser on the computer. Otherwise, a network error will occur and the system will not work properly.

For the owners of PlayMemories Studio™

Perform an update operation for PlayMemories Online using a browser on the computer.

For the owners of Digital Photo Frame DPF-W700/WA700 or Dash

Update the firmware to the latest version.
