If you own a recordable Blu-ray disc drive and you have downloaded and installed the BD (Blu-ray Disc) Add-on software onto the PMB*, you can write 3D and AVCHD™ videos to create a Blu-ray disc without converting. Refer to <this page> for details about BD Add-on software.
* BD Add-on software can be installed only when your camera can record AVCHD videos.

1 Insert a new Blu-ray disc into the Blu-ray disc drive of your computer.

Only use the Blu-ray disc of BD-R (Not rewritable) or BD-RE (Rewritable).
Insert a new Blu-ray disc into the Blu-ray disc drive of your computer.
2 In Calendar View or Index View, select an AVCHD™ video you want to include in the disc.
You can select multiple videos at the same time. The selected videos are marked with a blue frame. Refer to <this page> for details.
In Calendar View or Index View, select an AVCHD ™ video you want to include in the disc.
3 Select [Create Discs] > [Create Blu-ray Disc (HD)...] in the menu.
Select [Create Discs] > [Create Blu-ray Disc (HD)...] in the menu.
4 Select a Blu-ray disc type.
The preview of the disc menu will be displayed.
Check the menu, and click [Start].
Tip
If you select [Create an HD 3D or HD (50p) Blu-ray Disc], you can write 3D or AVCHD™ videos to a Blu-ray disc without converting.(*)
When playing the Blu-ray disc needs a Blu-ray player being compatible with AVCHD Ver.2.0.

* Please update PMB to Ver.5.8 or higher.
5 Confirm that the selected videos are checked, and click [Next].

Note
If the message "Cannot detect a drive to write to" appears, check if the Blu-ray drive of your computer is available to write to Blu-ray discs.
Tip
You can add the videos in the [Blu-ray Disc (HD) Creation] window.
Reduce the size of the main window to display both the main window and the [Blu-ray Disc (HD) Creation] window on the screen. Then, drag and drop the videos from the main window to the area surrounded with the red frame in the [Blu-ray Disc (HD) Creation] window.

You can also change the order of videos by dragging and dropping the thumbnails in the area surrounded with the red frame.


You can add the videos in the [Data Disc Creation] window.
6 The preview of the disc menu will be displayed.
Check the menu, and click [Start].

7 The [Blu-ray Disc (HD) Creation] window opens. Click [OK]. Disc creation will start.

8 When the [Disc Creation Complete] window opens, click [Finish].
* If you want to make another copy, click [Copy].
When the [Disc Creation Complete] window opens, click [Finish].
 
9 When the [Blu-ray Disc (HD) Creation] window opens, click [OK].
When the [Blu-ray Disc (HD) Caution] window opens, click [OK].
