With PMB, you can select AVCHD™ or STD (Standard) videos and create a DVD-Video format disc (STD). The created DVD-Video format disc can be played back on a DVD player/recorder.

This function may not be supported depending on the version of your PMB or the product you are using. Refer to <Version / Function chart> for details.

Insert a new DVD disc into the DVD drive of your computer.

In Calendar View or Index View, select an AVCHD™ or STD (Standard) video you want to include in the disc. You can select multiple videos at the same time. The selected videos are marked with a blue frame. Refer to <this page> for details.

* If you select AVCHD™ videos, it will take a long time to create a disc because the videos will be converted to the MPEG-2 format. * STD (Standard) videos recorded with Cyber-shot or MP4 videos cannot be selected.

Select [Create Discs] > [Create DVD-Video Format Discs (STD)...] in the menu.

Confirm that the selected videos are checked, and click [Next].

If the message "Cannot detect a drive to write to" appears, check if the DVD drive of your computer can write to a DVD disc. If you find a "DVD R/RW" or "RW DVD+ReWritable" logo on your DVD drive, it can write to a DVD disc. If you find a "DVD ROM" logo only, it cannot write to a DVD disc. Note that some DVD drives cannot write to a DVD disc, while they can write to a CD and play back a DVD disc.

You can add the videos in the [DVD-Video (STD) Creation] window. Reduce the size of the main window to display both the main window and the [DVD-Video (STD) Creation] window on the screen. Then, drag and drop the videos from the main window to the area surrounded with the red frame in the [DVD-Video (STD) Creation] window. You can also change the order of videos by dragging and dropping the thumbnails in the area surrounded with the red frame.

The preview of the disc menu will be displayed. Check the menu, and click [Start].

Disc creation will start.

When the [DVD Creation Complete] window opens, click [Finish]. * If you want to make another copy, click [Copy].
