The screen design may be different depending on the version of your PMB.

* You need to connect your camera/camcorder and the computer during the installation procedures. Keep your camera or camcorder handy before starting the installation. * Log on as an Administrator for installation.

Turn on your computer and insert the CD-ROM (supplied) into the CD-ROM drive. When the installation menu screen appears, Click [Install].

If the installation menu screen does not appear 1. Click [Start] > [Computer] or [My Computer]. 2. Double-click the CD-ROM icon [SONYPMB(E:)]*. The drive name (E in this case) may vary according to your computer.

Click [Next].

Select the region, country or area where you will use this program, and click [Next].

Select the desired language, and click [Next].

Carefully read the license agreement, click the radio button to accept the agreement, and then click [Next].

Select the installation type. [Standard] is recommended.

When [Install the program] window opens, click [Install].

Installation starts.

If the [Microsoft DirectX Setup] window opens, carefully read the license terms and click [Yes].

Installation of PMB has finished, and you can use the basic functions. However, in order to use the functions specific to your camera/camcorder, click [Next] to proceed.

Connect the camera/camcorder to the computer. The additional functions for your camera/camcorder will be installed automatically.

* If the [USB SELECT] screen appears, select the recording medium with [USB CONNECT]. (The screen may vary among the camera/camcorder in use.) When the additional functions have been installed, click [OK].

Confirm the installed functions, and click [Finish]. If you have other Sony products, connect them here.

Click [OK]. *You may need to restart the computer depending on the version of your PMB. After the installation, remove the CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive of the computer.
