With PMB, you can detect a specific person’s face from videos and photos imported to your computer and search for images having faces similar to the selected face.

* Animated GIF files recorded with the Clip Motion function are not supported.

This function may not be supported depending on the version of your PMB or the product you are using. Refer to <Version / Function chart> for details.

Specify the period or area where you want to search for faces; select year/month/day on Calendar View, or select a folder in Index View.

When you click the button, faces in the period or folder you selected are detected and displayed in the [Face Search] window.

* To display faces in the window, analysis for media files is required in advance. Select [Tools] > [Analyze All Unanalyzed Media Files] in the menu, then all the unanalyzed media files in the computer start to be analyzed. This analysis may take some time.

By clicking the face you want to search in the faces displayed in the [Face Search] window, the orange frame appears on the selected face and detecting videos and photos having similar faces will start.

The results of the face search are displayed in the main window. If you have selected year or month in Calendar View, the results will be displayed by groups of year or month; click the thumbnail and display the list of the images as shown below.

The orange frame appears on the selected face and white frames appear over the faces recognized to be similar to the selected face.

Click [Clear] to stop filtering by similar faces.

* These operations may not work properly depending on the scenes or subjects’ expressions.
