"Picture Package" and "ImageMixer Ver.1.5" supplied with Cyber-shot or Handycam are not compatible with Windows Vista(R). For users who have accidentally installed these software into Windows Vista(R), we are offering "Picture Package Uninstaller" as the uninstallation tool.

* If you have tried to uninstall the above software using [Uninstall or change a program] in Windows Vista(R), the programs such as "SONY DVD Handycam USB Driver" or "ImageMixer Ver.1.5" may not be deleted.
Please use this uninstallation tool to completely delete the programs.

How to use “Picture Package Uninstaller”
Before you start:
- Please log on as a user with administrator privileges.
- Please close other application software or resident software.
 
  1. Double-click the downloaded [PicturePackageUninstaller_update0807f.exe] file to start "Picture Package Uninstaller".

  2. Under [Status], "The applicable programs have been checked." appears, and applicable programs are shown in the grayed-out text “xxxxx has been uninstalled." . Check the programs and click [Start].

  3. Uninstallation of applicable programs starts.
    During the uninstallation process, you will need to click the button to proceed to the next screen several times.
    Please operate each step following the instruction on the screen.

    Note:
    - When the [InstallShield Wizard Complete] screen appears during the uninstallation, please be sure to select [No, I will restart my computer later.] and click [Finish] to proceed.

    - If you click [Cancel] on the [InstallShield Wizard] screen, the uninstallation in progress will be cancelled. However, if there are other programs to be uninstalled, the next [InstallShield Wizard] screen pops up. To cancel the uninstallation of all the programs, please click [Cancel] on all screens.

    Also, cancelling from the [InstallShield Wizard] screen may leave the program data incompletely in the computer. To delete the program completely, please execute ”Picture Package Uninstaller” again.

  4. When the uninstallation of all the applicable programs is finished, the message prompting to restart the computer appears. Click [OK] to restart the computer.
