Continuous Shooting

When a mount adaptor (LA-EA1/LA-EA2/LA-EA3/LA-EA4/LA-EA5) and an A-mount lens are attached to the camera (Latest Camera’s system software (firmware) version), the continuous shooting speed and availability of autofocus tracking varies depending on shooting conditions such as shutter type, focus mode and the attached lens.
Here, we will discuss the continuous shooting speed when [Shutter Type] is set to [Auto]/[Electronic Shut.].
Please see the tables below.

Continuously shooting 10 images per second at maximum while autofocus is tracking

Even when the camera is configured with the example settings below, it is still possible to continuously shoot 10 images per second at the maximum as long as the camera is attached with a lens that supports continuous shooting of 10 images per second at the maximum.

Camera Settings

*
The number of shots available for continuous shooting can be reduced by a number of factors, including the subject, camera settings (image size and ISO sensitivity, high ISO noise reduction, use of lens compensation (distortion compensation)), and the recording media used.
