Smooth Slow Playback

When movies shot with high speed recording are edited using Action Cam Movie Creator, you can create movies with portions in smooth slow playback.

  • HDR-AS50 / AS100V / AS200V / AS300 / AZ1 / AZ1VR

STEP1. Set to high speed recording in image quality setting mode and shoot movies.

With the following methods, set modes, then shoot.

[Setting Method]

  • FDR-X1000V, HDR-AS200V

[SETUP] - [VMODE] - select Image Quality Setting from [100p]/[120p]/[200p]/[240p]*.
*Depending on the NTSC/PAL setting, the displayed frame rate will vary.

  • FDR-X3000, HDR-AS300
    1. Press the MENU button.
    2. Set to *1 (Shooting Mode) - (movie mode).
    3. Press the MENU button.
    4. Set to (Shooting settings) - *2 (Image Quality Setting) - [100p]/[120p]/[200p]/[240p]*3.
      *1 The icon of the current selected Shooting Mode is displayed.
      *2 The icon of the current selected Image Quality Setting is displayed.
      *3 Depending on the NTSC/PAL setting, the displayed frame rate will vary.
  • HDR-AS50
    1. Press the MENU button.
    2. Set to *1 (Shooting Mode) - (movie mode).
    3. Press the MENU button.
    4. Set to (Shooting settings) - *2 (Image Quality Setting) - [120p]/[100p]*3.
      *1 The icon of the current selected Shooting Mode is displayed.
      *2 The icon of the current selected Image Quality Setting is displayed.
      *3 Depending on the NTSC/PAL setting, the displayed frame rate will vary.
  • HDR-AS100V

[VMODE] - select Image Quality Setting from [HS100]/[HS120]/[HS200]/[HS240]*.
*Depending on the NTSC/PAL setting, the displayed frame rate will vary.

  • HDR-AZ1VR
    1. Connect the camera and remote (RM-LVR2V) via Wi-Fi, press the UP or DOWN button of the remote to set Shooting mode settings to Movie Mode.
    2. Press the MENU button on the remote and select (Movie settings) - [Image Quality Setting] - / *.
      *Depending on the NTSC/PAL setting, the displayed frame rate will vary.
  • HDR-AZ1
    1. Connect a smartphone running the smartphone app, PlayMemories Mobile, to a camera via Wi-Fi, and set Shooting mode settings to Movie Mode.
    2. Select (various settings) of PlayMemories Mobile then select [Recording Mode] - [HS100]/[HS120]*.
      *Depending on the NTSC/PAL setting, the displayed frame rate will vary.

STEP2. Create slow playback movies with Action Cam Movie Creator.
