The Clear Image Zoom Smooth Priority function is a method of zooming in which Optical Zoom and Clear Image Zoom are performed at the same time.
It allows smooth operation over the entire zoom range with no breakpoint between Optical Zoom and Clear Image Zoom when you operate the zoom lever of a Power Zoom lens.
When used in combination with lenses other than Power Zoom lenses, you can zoom, including the Clear Image Zoom range, by operating the zoom ring of the lens.
