I like to get off the beaten track. High in the hills, hiking and camping, is how I keep in touch with myself. And back home I can experience it all again by running a slideshow.
Where the road ends, and the trail begins, is where SONY and I set off on foot to witness nature's wonders firsthand.
I just turn on the GPS unit and put it in my rucksack to let it log my GPS position as I ramble. I often wind up in places that are well off the beaten path, but the photos I take of birds and other wildlife, of magnificent vistas and sunsets, can be accurately tagged with location data and placed on a map as soon as I get back to civilization.
