Getting started with PlayMemories Studio™

You can download PlayMemories Studio™ from the PlayStation®Store.

• In order to download PlayMemories Studio™ software, there must be at least 1GB of free space on the PlayStation®3 internal HDD.
• For information on how to set up your PlayStation®3 network connection, and for details about the PlayStation®Network and PlayStation®Store, see the PlayStation®3 User's Guide.

Download procedure

• Connect the PlayStation®3 to the Internet.
• Access the PlayStation®Store.
  If this is your first time to visit the PlayStation®Store, you will need to sign up for the PlayStation®Network. For details, see the PlayStation®3 User's Guide.
• Use the search function on the PlayStation®Store page to search for PlayMemories Studio™.
• Download PlayMemories Studio™.

Required software

To use PlayMemories Studio™, you must obtain the PlayMemories Studio™ Unlock Key or free PlayMemories Studio™ Trial Key separately from the PlayMemories Studio™ software.

End-User License Agreement

Before using PlayMemories Studio™, you must first read and agree to the "End-User License Agreement".

The PlayMemories Studio™ is installed automatically after it is downloaded.

Installation procedure when "Perform in Background" is selected

• After downloading is complete, go to the PlayStation®3 XMB™ (XrossMediaBar) and select [Game] > [PlayMemories Studio™].
• PlayMemories Studio™ is installed.

Launch procedure

• In the PlayStation®3 XMB™ (XrossMediaBar), select [Photo] > [PlayMemories Studio™].
• PlayMemories Studio™ starts.

The display area setting screen is displayed only the first time PlayMemories Studio™ is launched.

Display area settings

Adjust the size of the display area on the TV screen. Set the red framed display area so that it fits within the screen, then press the Enter button. This setting can be changed later on the setting screen.
