Can the Sonic UDF Reader only be installed?

Can the Sonic UDF Reader only be installed?
You can use the following steps to install the Sonic UDF Reader only.
  1. Set the supplied CD-ROM into your computer drive.
    2. Installation screen of the application starts.
  2. Click [Exit] at the lower right corner of the installation screen to finish the installation screen.
  3. Double-click [My Computer].
  4. Right-click [SONYPICTUTIL], and select [Open] in the displayed menu.
  5. Open the folders [DIApp] - [UDFReader], and double-click [Setup.exe] in the [UDFReader] folder.
  6. Installation of the Sonic UDF Reader starts. Follow the instructions on the screen to install. This ends the installation of the Sonic UDF Reader.

Note

Installation is not required on the Windows Vista.

Can't I use the software if my computer does not satisfy the system requirements?
Some functions may be usable depending on the environment.
However, even if playback, editing, or DVD-Video Creation function can be operated, they may take a longer time, or dropped frames may be observed in playback images.
Please note that operations in an environment which does not satisfy the system requirements are not guaranteed.
