You should carefully read the following "END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT" before downloading the update program. The download of [ IDCSR11_Updater.exe (3,389,320 bytes) ] file will be started automatically when you click "Agree" button at the bottom of the "END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT".

[ Installation Instructions ] Confirm the following software is installed in your computer. Image Data Converter SR Ver.1.1 Double-click the downloaded [ IDCSR11_Updater.exe ] file. The installation of the update program will automatically start. Follow the instruction on the screen to complete the installation. To resolve the symptom that the RAW file is not opened with Picture Motion Browser, please follow the steps below. After the update, start up Image Data Converter SR Ver.1.1 and open the RAW file that was not opened with Picture Motion Browser. Select [Save As...] from the [File] menu to open the [Save As] screen. Select [SR2 Files (*.SR2)] for [Save as type], and click the [Save] button. If the message "... Do you want to replace it?" appears, click [Yes].
END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR SONY SOFTWARE YOU SHOULD CAREFULY READ THE FOLLOWING AGREEMENT BEFORE USING SONY'S SOFTWARE, "Image Data Converter SR version.1.1 Update Program", AND ITS RELATED MATERALS (COLLECTIVELY, THE "SONY SOFTWARE"). This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Sony Corporation ("SONY"), the licensor of the SONY SOFTWARE. BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, COPYING, EXECUTING, OR OTHERWISE USING SONY SOFTWARE INDICATES YOUR ACCEPTANCE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, SONY is unwilling to license the SONY SOFTWARE to you. In such event, you should not download, install, copy, execute or otherwise use the SONY SOFTWARE. Article 1 SONY SOFTWARE LICENSE The SONY SOFTWARE is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SONY SOFTWARE is licensed, not sold. Article 2 GRANT OF LICENSE (i) You may use the SONY SOFTWARE only if you are the legitimate licensee of SONY's Image Data Converter SR version.1.1, ("Original SOFTWARE") and you agreed to and adhere to the terms and conditions of the End-User License Agreement for the Original SOFTWARE with SONY ("Original Agreement"). (ii) SONY grants you a non-exclusive license, with no right to grant sub-licenses, to personally use the SONY SOFTWARE only for the purpose to update the Original SOFTWARE licensed to you under the Original Agreement. The number of license of the SONY SOFTWARE granted to you hereunder shall be one. Article 3 DESCRIPTIONS OF REQUIREMENTS, RESTRICTIONS, RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS (i) The Original SOFTWARE updated by the SONY SOFTWARE ("Updated SOFTWARE") shall be deemed as the Original SOFTWARE and unless otherwise set forth in this Agreement, your license to use the Updated SOFTWARE shall be granted by the terms and condition of the Original Agreement which you agreed. (ii) You may not download, install, execute or otherwise use the SONY SOFTWARE or any copy thereof on more than single computer. (iii) You may not copy, reproduce, modify, add, customize, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any or all part of the SONY SOFTWARE; provided that you may create and retain only one exact and complete back up copy of the SONY SOFTWARE for recovery purpose. (iv) You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense the right to use, or otherwise permit to use the SONY SOFTWARE to any third party. (v) You may not prejudice or violate the title, copyrights or other rights of SONY and/or any third parties by using the SONY SOFTWARE. Article4 TITLE AND COPYRIGHTS All title and copyrights in and to the SONY SOFTWARE (including but not limited to any images, photographs, animation, video, audio, music, text and "applets"), and any copies of the SONY SOFTWARE are owned by SONY or its licensor who has granted SONY to use, distribute and license certain part of the SONY SOFTWARE ("LICENSOR"). All rights not specifically granted under this Agreement are reserved by SONY and LICENSOR. Article 5 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (i) SONY AND LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES, EITHER DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE, FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY RELATED TO THE SONY SOFTWARE, ORIGINAL SOFTWARE OR UPDATED SOFTWARE. SUCH DAMAGES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF USE OF THE SONY PRODUCT OR ANY ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT, DOWN TIME AND USER'S TIME, EVEN IF SONY AND/OR LICENSOR HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. (ii) EXCEPT OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY ANY LAW, STATUTE AND/OR RULES, THE ENTIRE LIABILITY OF SONY AND LICENSOR FOR THE DAMAGES, LOSSES OR EXPENSE INCURRED TO YOU AND/OR THIRD PARTIES, AND ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SONY SOFTWARE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE TOTAL AMOUNT WHICH YOU HAVE ACCTUALLY PAID FOR OBTAINING THE LICENSE OF THE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE AND EXCLUDES THE PURCHASE AMOUNT OF THE PRODUCT WITH WHICH THE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE WAS BANDLED. Article 6 NO-WARRANTY You expressly acknowledge and agree that use of the SONY SOFTWARE and the Updated SOFTWARE is at your sole risk. The SONY SOFTWARE and the Updated SOFTWARE are provided "AS IS" and without warranty of any kind and SONY and LICENSOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SONY AND LICENSOR DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE SONY SOFTWARE AND THE UPDATED SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT THE OPERATION OF THE SONY SOFTWARE AND THE UPDATED SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED, THAT THE SONY SOFTWARE AND THE UPDATED SOFTWARE WILL NOT HAVE BUGS, DEFFECTS, ERRORS OR FAILURES OR THAT THE SONY SOFTWARE AND THE UPDATED SOFTWARE WILL NOT DAMAGE ANY OTHER SOFTWARE, COMPUTER HARDWARE OR DATA. FURTHERMORE, SONY AND LICENSOR DO NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE OR THE RESULTS OF THE USE OF THE SONY SOFTWARE AND THE UPDATED SOFTWARE IN TERMS OF ITS CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY SONY, A SONY AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OR LICENSOR SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY OR IN ANY WAY INCREASE THE SCOPE OF THIS WARRANTY. SHOULD THE SONY SOFTWARE AND/OR THE UPDATED SOFTWARE PROVE DEFECTIVE YOU (AND NOT SONY, A SONY AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OR LICENSOR) ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Article 7 LIABILITY TO INFLINGEMENT OF THE THIRD PARTY'S RIGHTS You will defend and hold SONY and LICENSOR harmless from and against all liabilities, demands, damages, costs, expenses or losses arising out of the use of the SONY SOFTWARE and/or breach of any of the provisions of this Agreement by you (including but not limited to alleged infringement of patents, copyrights, and/or any other rights of third party). Article 8 TERMINATION (i) Without prejudice to any other rights, SONY may terminate this Agreement if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement and/or the Original Agreement. (ii) In case of termination of this Agreement pursuant to this Article 8(i), within two (2) weeks from such termination, you must remove and destroy the SONY SOFTWARE, the Original SOFTWARE, the Updated SOFTWARE and all copies thereof from your personal computer or return to SONY the SONY SOFTWARE, the Original SOFTWARE, the Updated SOFTWARE and all copies thereof. (iii) The provisions of Articles 4 through 11 of this Agreement shall survive the termination of this Agreement. Article 9 GOVENING LAW This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan, without regards to conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive venue of Japan, and the parties hereby consent to the venue and jurisdiction of such courts. Article 10 EXPORT CONTROL You agree to comply with any and all applicable export, import and customs laws and regulation of any countries in the event that you intend to export or use the SONY SOFTWARE out side of Japan.
