1. Slide the POWER switch to the ON position.
2. Press the MENU button, then LCD monitor displays menu.
3. Press DISP button while menu is indicated.
   
   
4. A window will show the firmware version on LCD monitor.
   
   
5. Press the Center button of Multi-selector to close the version display.

		If updating procedure was not finished rightly or cannot turn on the camera, please consult local authorized Sony service facility. After updating the camera, format the recording medium or delete the update file (DSCA700.APP) from the recording medium.
