Getting started with PlayMemories Studio™

PlayMemories Studio™ requirements

The following items are required in order to use PlayMemories Studio™:

PlayStation®3
Wireless controller
PlayMemories Studio™ software
In order to download PlayMemories Studio™ software, there must be at least 1GB of free space on the PlayStation®3 internal HDD.
A PlayMemories Studio™ Unlock Key or a free PlayMemories Studio™ Trial Key
To use PlayMemories Studio™, you must obtain the PlayMemories Studio™ Unlock Key or free PlayMemories Studio™ Trial Key separately from the PlayMemories Studio™ software.
Internet connection
This is used when downloading PlayMemories Studio™ from the PlayStation®Store, and when using some network functions.
Sony Entertainment Network account
This is used when downloading PlayMemories Studio™ from the PlayStation®Store, and when using some network functions.
USB connectable storage device
Use the FAT32 or FAT16 type format.
The maximum depth of directories which can have content played and copied is 25.
