How to use PlayMemories Studio™

In Map view, images with location info can be managed and played on a map.

Point selection mode

• Point
  The point shows the location where the image was taken. Use or to switch the location.
  

  If you have difficulty finding the current location when you zoom in to the maximum level, check the rotating globe linked to the map.

• Information of selected point
  The total number of images included in the current point is displayed.
• Select location
  Press thebutton to display select location screen, and set which images to show.
  Select "Edit location info" to add location info to images that do not have any. (More details)
• Change view
  Use thebutton to change between the three views.
• Help message
  A description is displayed for the item currently selected by the cursor.
• Operating help
  The main button operations that can be used on the currently displayed screen are displayed.
  • View setting
    Press thebutton to display the view setting screen, and set which images to show. In Map view, only images with location info can be played . (More details)
  • Enter
    Press the button to switch to thumbnail selection mode.
  • Main Menu
    Press the button to return to the Main Menu.
  • Scroll
    Use to change the point.
  • Zoom
    Use to zoom. Tiltforward to zoom in on a map, or tilt back to zoom out.

Thumbnail selection mode

• Thumbnails
  

  A thumbnail list is shown for images that have location info. You can check the image type in the thumbnail area.

  This icon is displayed for 3D images in the thumbnail area. Images can be viewed in 3D on a 3D-compatible TV.

  ^*The icon is displayed for images in MP4 SBS format, images in 3D/MVC format taken with a Sony digital camera or video camera, movies, and still images in MPO formats.
  ^*The icon is not displayed for images taken in AVCHD SBS format.

  This icon is displayed for movies in the thumbnail area.
  Items without either of the above icons are 2D photos.

• Switch display
  While the thumbnail list is displayed, useto change the items shown in the thumbnail list.
  • Selected point
    Only the images taken at the currently selected point are displayed.
  • All points
    All images included in all points are displayed. When you select a thumbnail with the cursor, the map moves to the point corresponding to that image.
• Image location info
  The latitude/longitude information of the currently selected thumbnail is displayed.
• Help message
  A description is displayed for the item currently selected by the cursor.
• Operating help
  The main button operations that can be used on the currently displayed screen are displayed.
  • Play
    Press thebutton to play only the image currently selected by the cursor. Press thebutton to play the images in a slideshow. (More details)
  • Back
    Press the button to return to Map view.
  • Sub Menu
    Press thebutton to display the icon list for functions that can be used on this screen.

    Deselect images that have been selected.

  • Select
    

    Press thebutton to select multiple images. Items can be deselected in the Sub Menu.
