You can upload your images to an external service.
To use network functions, the PlayStation®3 needs to be connected to the Internet. You must also have a Sony Entertainment Network account. (More details)
Certain online services may not be available in some countries/regions.
This section describes the procedure for uploading photos.
Select the images to upload. Images selected in Timeline view can also be uploaded via the Sub Menu. It is also possible to automatically upload images that are output after a Mylist is output.
Some external services may limit the size or number of files that can be uploaded.
You can upload only one movie to YouTube at a time.
Select an external service as the upload destination. Enter your account information on the login screen that is displayed.
Create an account with the external service before uploading, and have your account information ready when you log in.
Before uploading to an external service, make sure to enable access to the service in Main Menu > Settings > Online service access settings.
Entire M2TS files are uploaded when uploading AVCHD format images. As a result, the uploaded M2TS files may also include scenes other than those that were selected.
Enter the upload destination. If you choose to create a new Album then you can add a description.
When using PlayMemories Online™ for the first time with a Sony Entertainment Network account, or when the EULA of PlayMemories Online™ has been updated, the EULA screen will be displayed.
Follow the on-screen directions.
Uploading large images can result in errors.
Do not remove the storage device or turn off the main power of the PlayStation®3 while uploading. Press thebutton to cancel uploading.
It may take a while for uploaded images to appear at the upload destination.
The image thumbnail should be created after uploading to PlayMemories Online™ to show on PlayMemories Studio™. It may take a while for the thumbnails of uploaded images to be displayed.
Enter information such as the title or a description of the movie. You can select whether to open the movie.
You can upload only one movie at a time. You cannot upload images.
Movie upload progress is displayed.
Enter your YouTube account name and password, then click the upload button.

To use the upload function for Facebook, you must first go to [Settings] > [Online service access settings] and enable access to Facebook.
