How to use PlayMemories Studio™

In Timeline view, you can list and play images in chronological order.

• Thumbnail list
  

  Images saved on storage devices connected to the PlayStation®3 (including its PS3™ internal HDD) are displayed as a thumbnail list. Pressto move the cursor.

  This icon is displayed for 3D images in the thumbnail area. Images can be viewed in 3D on a 3D-compatible TV.

  ^*The icon is displayed for images in MP4 SBS format, images in 3D/MVC format taken with a Sony digital camera or video camera, movies, and still images in MPO formats.
  ^*The icon is not displayed for images taken in AVCHD SBS format.

  This icon is displayed for movies in the thumbnail area.

  Items without either of the above icons are 2D photos.

• Day
  This shows the day the image was taken.
• Month
  This shows the month the image was taken.
• Year
  This shows the year the image was taken.
• Select location
  With the button, you can select images’ storage to play. When you select [PlayMemories Online™], you can play images stored on PlayMemories Online™.
• Change view
  Use thebutton to change between the three views.
• Help message
  A description is displayed for the item currently selected by the cursor.
• Operating help
  The main button operations that can be used on the currently displayed screen are displayed.
  • View setting
    Press thebutton to display the view setting screen, and set which images to show. (More details)
  • Play
    Press thebutton to play only the image currently selected by the cursor. Press thebutton to play the images in a slideshow. (More details)
  • Main Menu
    Press the button to return to the Main Menu.
  • Sub Menu
    

    Press thebutton to display the icon list for functions that can be used on this screen.

    Start slideshow. (More details)

    Play images in digest playback (playback with highlights). (More details)

    Play images in travel playback (playback with map). (More details)

    Add images to Mylist. (More details)

    Edit images. (More details)

    Upload images to an external service. (More details)

    Copy images to a different storage device. (More details)

    Deselect images that have been selected.

    Edit the date/time taken for images. (More details)

    Edit the location info of images. (More details)

    Delete images. When deleting images from a USB storage device, only images that were copied using this software can be deleted.

  • Select
    Press thebutton to select multiple images. Items can be deselected in the Sub Menu.
