How to use PlayMemories Studio™

Mylist view

Photos and movies added to Mylists can be edited and played. Use thebutton to change to Timeline view and Map view.

• Mylists
  The Mylist names, thumbnails of key images added to the Mylists, and the period of images added to Mylists are automatically displayed.
• Selected Mylist
  A thumbnail list of images added to the currently selected Mylist is displayed.
• Number of Mylists
  The total number of created Mylists and their current locations are displayed. Up to 500 Mylists can be created, and up to 500 images can be added to each Mylist.
• Help message
  A description is displayed for the item currently selected by the cursor.
• Operating help
  The main button operations that can be used on the currently displayed screen are displayed.
  • Sort Mylists
    In Mylist view, press thebutton to display the Mylist sort window. When you select the desired Mylist order, the settings are applied to Mylist view.
  • Play
    Press thebutton to play the Mylist. (More details)

    The Mylist can also be played via the Sub Menu.

  • Change view
    Use thebutton to change between the three views.
  • Set Mylist type
    Useto change the Mylist type icon. Set the desired icon for the Mylist.
  • Edit Mylist
    Press thebutton to go to the Edit Mylist screen. If there are no Mylists, press thebutton to create a Mylist. Add images of your captured memories to the new Mylist.
  • Main Menu
    Press the button to return to the Main Menu.
  • Sub Menu
    

    Press thebutton to display the list of functions that can be used on this screen.

    Create new Mylist. You can also create a new Mylist by selecting "Create new Mylist" at the bottom of the list of Mylists in Mylist view.

    Add images to Mylist.

    Edit Mylist title.

    Copy Mylist.

    Delete Mylist.

    Images added to a Mylist are not deleted when the Mylist is deleted. To delete an image, go to Timeline view and delete it.

    When images added to a Mylist are deleted in Timeline view, or when a storage device containing images added to a Mylist is not connected, those images and the edited details cannot be played back.

    You can upload a Mylist to an external service by outputting the Mylist from "Edit Mylist".

Edit Mylist

In Mylist view, place the cursor on a Mylist and press thebutton to go to the Edit Mylist screen. On this screen, you can check the information and editing status of images added to the Mylist.

• Mylist name
  This is the name of the Mylist.
• Mylist information
  The number of photos, number of movies, total number of images (photos and movies), and the period of images added to the Mylist are displayed.
• Thumbnails
  The currently selected image is displayed in the middle. To go to the Edit screen, press thebutton. To add an image to that location, select the blank space on either side of a thumbnail, then press thebutton.
  

  Moving data from an ordinal registry to another, such as an external memory device, may cause a broken link. PlayMemories Studio™ includes a feature for automatic recovery. Follow the on-screen directions.

• Editing status
  The editing status of the currently selected image is displayed.
• Playback style for slideshow
  The screen will show information on selected images (playback style, music, etc.).(More details)
• Help message
  A description is displayed for the item currently selected by the cursor.

  • Play Mylist

    Output Mylist (editing status is applied).

    Output the currently selected image (editing status is applied).

    Move (change the position of) the currently selected image within the Mylist.

    Edit the title of the Mylist.

    Remove the image from the Mylist.

Movies up to fifty minutes can be exported. Note that any part exceeding fifty minutes will not be exported.
