How to use PlayMemories Studio™

Add subtitles

Display subtitles for images.

Select "Add subtitles" to display the on-screen keyboard, and enter the subtitle text. Then select one of the Action Tags listed below for the subtitles you want to display.

• Top: Subtitles only
  Subtitles are displayed at the top of the screen with sound effects.
• Middle: Subtitles only
  Subtitles are displayed in the middle of the screen with sound effects.
• Bottom: Subtitles only
  Subtitles are displayed at the bottom of the screen with sound effects.
• Top: Caption (Box)
  Captions are displayed at the top of the screen.
• Middle: Caption (Box)
  Captions are displayed in the middle of the screen.
• Bottom: Caption (Box)
  Captions are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
• Top: Caption (Box) + Sound
  Captions (including for sound effects) are displayed at the top of the screen.
• Middle: Caption (Box) + Sound
  Captions (including for sound effects) are displayed in the middle of the screen.
• Bottom: Caption (Box) + Sound
  Captions (including for sound effects) are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
• Display time
  The display time for the Action Tags listed above can be set to 1 sec., 3 sec., 5 sec., 10 sec., 30 sec., or until the end.

Useto select the subtitle Action Tag, then press thebutton to start adding the tag to your content. On the Add Action Tag screen, press thebutton to add an Action Tag. When you finish adding the Action Tag, press thebutton to return to the Edit menu. (More details).
