How to use PlayMemories Studio™

Add special playback effects

Play images with special playback effects. All special playback effects are available for movies only.

Select "Add special playback effects" and choose from the special playback Action Tags listed below.

• Stop-motion animation style
  This effect plays a key moment with a stop-motion animation-style effect.
• Voice changer: high pitch
  This effect raises the pitch of the recorded audio when playing a key moment.
• Voice changer: slightly high pitch
  This effect slightly raises the pitch of the recorded audio when playing a key moment.
• Voice changer: slightly low pitch
  This effect slightly lowers the pitch of the recorded audio when playing a key moment.
• Voice changer: low pitch
  This effect lowers the pitch of the recorded audio when playing a key moment.
• Repeat
  This effect repeatedly plays a key moment.
• Slow motion
  This effect plays a key moment in slow motion.
• Fast motion
  This effect plays a key moment in fast motion.
• Pause
  This effect pauses the playback of a key moment.
• No sound
  This effect mutes the recorded audio when playing a key moment.
• Display time
  The display time for the Action Tags listed above can be set to 1 sec., 3 sec., 5 sec., 10 sec., 30 sec., or until the end. The "Until the end" setting is not available for the Pause effect.

Use to select the special playback Action Tag, then press thebutton to start adding the tag to your content. On the Add Action Tag screen, press thebutton to add an Action Tag. When you finish adding the Action Tag, press thebutton to return to the Edit menu. (More details)
