Essential points to avoid reduced continuous shooting speed

Pre-capture

To fully demonstrate the performance of the pre-capture function, it is recommended to start shooting while there is enough remaining shooting capacity to continue shooting without a reduction in speed. Displaying the remaining shooting capacity makes it easier to keep track of the status of accumulated pre-captured images and the writing status to media.

Setting procedures

Select MENU → (Setup) → [Display Option] → [Remain Shoot Display] → [Always Display] or [Shoot-Only Display].

Indicator of the remaining shooting capacity displayed on the left side of the screen

Notes

  • If there is insufficient shooting capacity remaining, such as while writing to media for a previous shoot, it may not be possible to record for the number of seconds set in [Pre-Capture Rec Time].
  • Write speeds to media may decrease during pre-capture.
  • When pre-capture is canceled
Pre-capture may be forced to stop due to an increase in the temperature of the camera; however, normal shooting is still possible in this case.
