Essential points on the [Pre-Capture Rec Time] setting

Pre-capture

It is recommended to set the desired pre-capture recording time, taking into account factors such as the balance of the continuous shooting time after pressing the shutter button.
Continuous shooting time (number of shots) differs depending on the shooting conditions.

Illustration of continuous shooting time and buffer full
  • A: Shutter button pressed halfway down
  • B: Shutter button fully pressed
  • C: Time set in [Pre-Capture Rec Time]
  • D: Continuous shooting time (number of shots)
  • E: Buffer full (Continuous shooting speed reduced)
  • F: A shot taken just before the shutter button was fully pressed

If the set time in [Pre-Capture Rec Time] (C) is shorter than the shooting interval, one shot will be recorded retroactively before the shutter button is fully pressed (F).
