Setting the ISO

ISO can be set to suit the brightness where you are shooting. To set ISO, use the following function.

    MENU → (Camera Settings1) → [ISO Setting] → [ISO] → desired setting.

ISO

Multi Frame NR

Creates an image with less noise by combining continuous shots. Press the right side of the control wheel to display the setting screen, and then press the top/bottom sides to select a value.

ISO AUTO

The sensitivity is set automatically based on the brightness.

ISO 64–ISO 12800

Set your preferred sensitivity manually. Higher values provide greater sensitivity.

  • In dark environments, the shutter speed may be slower. Camera shake may occur, and subject blur may occur for fast-moving subjects. You can increase shutter speed by setting a higher ISO, which may alleviate these problems.
  • At higher ISO settings, image noise will increase.
