File transfer
Transfers images from a camera to the computer.
- For a list of camera models that support file transfer, refer to “Supported cameras.”
- To import images from a camera, the camera must be disconnected from the computer.
- The files that are transferred are the images stored on the media card in the slot specified by [Select Playback Media] on the camera.
- In the Device Selection Window, select a camera with “Disconnected” displayed under Status.

- Select [All] or [Select], then click the [File Import] button.
- If you selected [All], the application connects to the camera and the number of files to be transferred is displayed.

If you selected [Select], follow the prompts in the dialog box to select the file type and the images to be transferred.

- No thumbnails are displayed for HEIF files. Also, no thumbnails are displayed for RAW files shot using the RAW + HEIF setting.
- Select the folder in which to store the transferred files and click [OK] to start transferring the images.
