2.4. Configuring camera Wi-Fi settings from your smartphone (not supported on some camera models)

Configuring camera Wi-Fi settings involves entering information on the smartphone such as the SSID, password, and IP address setting and then transferring this information to the camera. This process eliminates the need to enter information such as the SSID and password manually on the camera.

Supported camera

ILCE-1^*1, 9M3, 7RM5^*1, 7SM3^*2, 7CR, 7CM2, 7M4^*1
*1 : system software Ver. 2.00 or later
^*2 : system software Ver. 3.00 or later

1. Tap MENU [] → [Camera Wi-Fi settings] → [Next].
2. Select your camera.
3. When a list of the access points detected by the camera appears, select the access point or camera you wish to connect to.
   

   

   

   

   
4. Enter the password of the access point.
   • If you selected [Other], enter both the SSID and the password.
5. Tap [Next] to write the access point information.
   • When the message [Set was completed.] appears, the process is complete.
